A space freed from the construction constrictions of traditional domestic architecture. 270 degrees of floor-to-ceiling windows throughout resulted in an open plan design with both intimate and surprising spaces.
The limited insertions of partitions are organised to create a central hub for the allocation of services, storage and privacy while also preserving the perimeter of light and air. Furniture pieces are positioned to define the remainder of the spaces.
The choice of materials consists of a juxtaposition of cool cement rendered panels, warm Burmese wood and a natural marble base throughout. Their combination defines a neutral architectural space that is both homely and social.
