Since its inception in 2011, Forward Architects has worked in cultural, residential, commercial, hospitality and office design projects. Led by partners Michael Pace and Christopher Micallef, the practice has gained a reputation for excellence in designing contemporary projects across various realms.
We aspire to an architecture that impacts people’s lives. We take a conscientious approach to each project, believing that every intervention will influence user experience. Our fundamental work ethic remains Quality through Refined Design. We achieve this with our dedicated team that is motivated, organised and committed to delivering the best possible results for our Client.
Using human, social, historical, environmental and economic parameters, design becomes an iterative attempt at improving quality of life. With this mindset, we are committed to collaborative teamwork that aspires to create architecture and interiors that are both contemporary and sensitive to purpose, context and place. Forward Architects has a keen interest in urban regeneration and is working on several projects that encompass this aim.
In 2019, Forward Architects won the awards for Interior Architecture for Residential Projects and Hospitality Tourism Accommodation and Leisure at the Malta Architecture and Spatial Planning Awards by the Planning Authority.
